Day 15 - askROCCO Boot Camp 10/13/2006

Friday the 13th! Very scary workout today. 30 degrees does not a fun workout make. All of you are coming along nicely. With the cold season creeping up on us we need to keep pushing forward even though you may want to stay under the covers. Keep getting your ass out of bed and there won't be much of one left. See you Monday.

Just completed week 5 of Rocco's bootcamp. I am proud of my level of commitment. I use to get disappointed when I looked around and see all the other "bootcampers" perform mountain climbers very well, at first I could not get in to position to do them, now at least I can hold my body up in an attempt to to them. I am glad rocco says that it is not quanity of reps that are done but its the quality of reps. I might be the slowest one in the group but I am proud of myself for sticking with the workout.

Today was tough. There were no breaks between the exercises and I liked that. I felt invigorated. Also lots of focusing on one area (today it was shoulders) which I liked too. I haven't really gotten on a scale but my clothes fit better and I know that I've gained muscle. If I keep this up, no one will be able to catch me on my mountain bike next season!! Someone get me a quarter 'cause soon it's gonna bounce off my ass!

Helena,
That is friggin' awesome! Who cares what other people are doing. It's all about you and what your improvements are. I sucked today. Too many dirty martinis last nightf made me hurtin' for certain. The floor seemed a little dry and I kept sliding when I was mountain climbing. That wasn't too fun for me either.
Can't wait for the new music next week. Loved the different arm exercises today too.

Never in my life have I progressed so much so quickly. I am absolutely amazed at my increase in strength and endurance. Thank you again, Rocco for bringing fitness to the public.

Hey sry I couldn't make it friday I had drill this weekend in the reserves. I took my APFT ( Army physical fitness test) I did 49 pushups which is 69 I wanna do alot more in 2 mins. I did 32 situps in 2 mins which isn't that great but needs work. Need to really work on situps. I also ran 2 miles in 16:11 which ain't bad but could be better. I failed the PT test because of the situps but I am not sad from it because it was the first PT test I took in over 2 1/2 years. So I feel I made alot of progress I just gotta keep up and do alot more. Where do I park around foutain square? and what street is it on? I will be there monday morning ready to work out. see you then fellow bootcampers and rocco.
